Most websites consist of domain name, space server, DNS resolution domain name, website program, database.

A www overview
WWW service: The World Wide Web service is a graphical page service that is published online and can be viewed through a browser.

(1) Overview of IIS
Provides the ability to inherit Web servers on an Internet Intranet or extranet. Using IIS, you can create powerful communication platforms for dynamic network applications.

Ii. Installing and configuring the Web site
(1) Installation IIS7.5
Add a role, add a Web server orange, view the Web service introduction, select the role service, confirm the installation. When the installation is complete, enter "http://localhost" in the browser to display the IIS default display.
(2) Configuring the Web site
①t Add the IIS server role, open the Information Services Manager, if you want to configure, select the site.
② Configure the IP address and TCP port of the site:
Right-click the target site, select Edit bindings, stand-alone edit, select the IP address. Web server default port is not 80, there are two types of binding: HTTP: Hypertext Transfer Protocol and HTTPS: Secure Hypertext Transfer Protocol.
③ Configuring the physical path and connection limits for a site
The physical path of the site is the local or remote path that holds the page file for that site. For security reasons, the physical path of the site should be in a different disk partition than the system. The connection limit restricts the network connection of the site through connection timeouts, maximum concurrent connections, and maximum bandwidth.
A connection timeout is the time required to set the server to disconnect the inactive user from the domain, and the default is 120 seconds.
b Maximum number of concurrent connections limit the maximum number of concurrent connections that the site can accept, preventing the system from overloading.
C Maximum loan limits the network bandwidth used by the site to prevent Web services from consuming excessive network bandwidth, which can affect other network services.
D Configuration: Open the Information Services Manager, right-click the target site, select "Manage Web Sites", "Advanced settings".
(3) Default document when a user accesses a Web site, it is usually accessible only with the FQDN or IP address, and does not need to provide the name of the paging file. This is the default document that should be set for the site, and when the user does not specify a paging file to access, the site uses the default document to respond to the user's request.
Information Services Manager, select the destination site, and double-click Default document.

Three. Configuring virtual directories and virtual hosts
(1)
① virtual directory: Files are stored in other partitions or other computer life halls, and when two references are accessed, the files are logically attributed to the site.
② Create a virtual directory:
Open Information Services Manager, right-click the destination site, select Add virtual directory, OK.
③ Configuring virtual directories: Modifying physical paths.
Open Information Services Manager, click Basic Settings, and reset the physical path in the Edit Virtual directory window.

(2) Configure the virtual host:
① use different IP addresses to build multiple Web sites: The TCP/IP protocol specifies that only one TCP80 port is available for an address.
Open the Information Services Manager, right click on "Web Site", select Add site, enter the relevant information, prepare a default page file.
② uses the same IP address and different TCP ports to build multiple Web sites.
Use a non-80 port.
Step above
③: Use the same IP address and TCP port number to build multiple sites with different host names.
, different host names to build multiple sites, using the host header to build a Web site, the Web server you will be based on user requests to access the FQDN to determine the site users want to visit.
Step above.
