Web page Security Color Introduction

Although most modern computers support 256-color (8-bit), only 216 colors are common on Web pages, and even in 16-and 32-bit computers, 10% of computers are limited to 256 colors.

The above is the Web page security color, we can find them in most image software (such as Photoshop)

The image above is a security page with all of the green, we can find only 6 kinds of green in the Web page is safe to display.

If we use a green in a Web page that does not belong to the top six green, then it will be shown on some 256-color computers with a tiny mesh of colors. Refer to the following figure:

The green display of this unsafe color is exaggerated in the image above, and the reader can observe some pages that use a non-web-safe color by adjusting the number of color digits in their display.
