Webmin Installation Introduction

Webmin is currently the most powerful Web-based UNIX system Management tool. The administrator accesses Webmin's various management functions through the browser and completes the corresponding management actions. Currently, Webmin supports the vast majority of Unix systems, including AIX, HPUX, Solaris, UnixWare, IRIX, and FreeBSD, in addition to various versions of Linux.

Software Installation

1. Download package

   The software offers a variety of installation options, which are explained in RPM.

　　　　

2. Performing the installation

1. Shell> RPM-UVH./webmin-1.831-1. noarch.rpm

   Perform Perl-net-ssleay installation if the following error is present after execution

   Yum Install Perl-net-ssleay

   Continue with Webmin installation, the following information is returned for successful installation

3. Visit and Login

Accessed via server ip:port such as: 192.168.137.101:10000

The default port number is 10000 and can be modified after login.

Default account root, the password is consistent with the server, can be modified after login. or manually modify it on the server before logging in

/usr/libexec/webmin/changepass.pl/etc/webmin/root 1234qwer

Postfix:error while loading shared libraries:libmysqlclient.so.16:cannot open Shared object file:no such file or Direc Tory

Solution:

Download installation package libmysqlclient.so.16 after installation refresh Webmin
