What are the differences between SQL Server and Oracle and MySQL ?, Oraclemysql
SQL, here I understand it as SQL Server. These three relational databases have the highest market share (based on the Installation volume rather than the income) and are representative. DB2 (IBM), which ranks fourth, is similar to Oracle's positioning and architecture.
If you want to explain the differences between the three, you must first start with history.
Typical application scenarios
There is no strict definition of "large databases". Data size prevails, and recovery time prevails. For integrated database application scenarios, large database applications have the following features: massive data, high throughput, complex logic, high computing workload, and high availability. In this regard, Oracle and DB2 are typical large databases, and Sybase SQL Server can be considered as well. The following describes the application scenarios of the previous three databases.
Architecture. In fact, the difference in execution is mainly about the difference in architecture. It is the architecture that leads to the difference in interpretation, optimization, and efficiency of the same SQL statement during execution. Here, we will just give a rough description and will not elaborate on it:
