The SSID is the name of a wireless local area network (WLAN). The SSID is a case-sensitive text string and is the order of an alphanumeric character (letter or number) that is no more than 32 characters long. The SSID technology can divide a wireless LAN into several subnets that require different authentication, and each subnet requires independent authentication, only authenticated users can enter the corresponding subnet to prevent unauthorized users from entering the network.
