What is FTP Server (2) -- permission Control

First, the folder to be protected by permissions must be created in the NTFS partition, and the resources in the FAT32 partition cannot be set with permissions.

In the settings in the previous article, we selected anonymous users and assigned them the read permission so that everyone can download the files, but the upload may fail.

Now, only the specified user can remotely operate the file.

1. Right-click my computer, Click Manage (G), and add a user to the local user and group (my name is js ).

2. Right-click the root folder of the FTP server's home directory and select Properties. Under the Security tab, click Edit, select Add, enter the added user JS, and click OK.

 
3. Select JS and set the permissions you want to grant to JS. In order to save trouble, I gave him full control.

 

 
4. Is it all done here? No, it's not over yet. Now you need to add the JS user in IIS. The above settings only allow JS users to perform operations on this computer, but the FTP service settings have not yet set the write permission for a user. Open the authorization rule, select Add allow rule from the right side, and then set the JS permission. Now you can.

 

 

 
So far, permission control is probably like this. If you only want JavaScript to write but not modify it, win7 does not provide this function, however, you can control the resource manager by setting JS permissions, that is, the rules allowed by both the FTP and the system can be implemented. If you can compare it with SVN, I believe you will understand it better.
