In the most common form, JavaScript resides in HTML documents, providing a variety of web page interactions that are not possible with simple HTML.

  The main difference between Java and JavaScript:

  • Java is an OOP programming language, and Java script is an OOP scripting language.
  • Java creates an application that runs in a virtual machine or browser, and JavaScript code runs only in the browser.
  • Java code needs to be compiled, and JavaScript code is in the text.
  • They require a different plugin.
