In other words, it is not suitable for management.
 
Lao Li is a technical expert. In his eyes, the Project Manager will design the system, build the technical framework of the system, and rush to solve technical difficulties and write core code if necessary. So he is very enthusiastic about technical trends, technical details, and new technologies, but he is not at all concerned about management. He thinks that the project is successful, and his promotion is just around the corner.
 
Ask him, "Why don't you learn management skills ?" His answer is often: "I am highly skilled and well-formed. Who are I afraid ?!" "Management is nothing at all. Why didn't I see any big entrepreneur who was born from learning management ?!" And so on.
 
In fact, this is the reason for his failure. This idea is one of the misunderstandings that the project manager has known.

In the end, technical work is the work of the technical director, and it is something that is irrelevant to management. If the management cannot keep up, the technical work will be better, and the distance between the project manager and the core value of management will gradually grow, but the project manager and the core value of management will become closer and closer. In other words, a project manager that only concentrates on technology, the larger the project, the more people, the longer the time, the smaller the value of his own.
 
We know that success is not about "others'", but about "Your Own. In the workplace, as a project manager, if you do not know "what is another person's business, what is your own business", and are willing to work hard, even if the project succeeds, it is also the success of colleagues, the department, and the company, rather than your success.
 
We should know that technology is the work of the technical director, not the work of the Project Manager. Even in some projects, the combination of the technical supervisor and the Project Manager is even more important for the project manager.
