Problem Description
When you use a vro to access the Internet, the network speed is slow or unstable, and packet loss occurs on the ping Internet, as shown in the figure below:
Ping packet loss is generally caused by physical connection quality or line congestion. We will analyze and troubleshoot the factors that are most likely to cause such problems. Please follow these steps to check:

Reduce wireless signal interference
If the wireless signal is strongly disturbed, packet loss is easily caused, which means the network speed is slow and the connection is dropped. There are two common interference sources: microwave oven, 2g cordless phone, wireless mouse and keyboard, and other nearby wireless routers. When the interference is very serious, wireless terminals may encounter unstable network speeds and packet loss. To reduce wireless interference, we recommend that you:
A. Avoid interference sources such as microwave oven and cordless phones when using a wireless router as much as possible, and keep the wireless router away from the wireless mouse and keyboard;
B. Try to change the wireless channel of the wireless router to avoid interference with other wireless routers due to channel conflicts;
C. The current 5 GHz band is relatively pure. For dual-band routers, use the 5 GHz band.
2To avoid the occupation of network bandwidth
If other terminals in the same network download and watch HD videos at high speed, the vast majority of bandwidth will be occupied. As a result, other Internet terminals may experience slow network speeds, and packet loss may occur when ping the Internet.

Use of high-quality network cables
If you use a desktop cable to access the Internet, please check whether the network cable between the computer and the router is too long, the interface is aging, not plugged in tightly, etc., you can try to replace a short and better quality network cable for comparative testing.

ARP
Spoofing
ARP spoofing is also a factor to consider. If some internet terminals in the Lan are under ARP attacks (some users use ARP spoofing software), the network may be unstable.
We recommend that you set ARP binding: install arpfirewall (such as 360ARP protection software) on your computer, and bind the IP address and MAC address of your computer to the vro. Some terminal devices may not be bound, such as mobile phones and tablets. You can try to change the LAN port of the router to another uncommon IP segment.
Note that:If you are using a vro in a company or hotel environment, the network environment is relatively complex. Some users use vrouters as vswitches and may encounter gateway address conflicts, spoofing, and broadcast storms, slow Network and packet loss.

Eliminate broadband line problems
Try a single-host broadband connection test. If the computer is directly connected to the broadband ping Internet, the same packet loss problem also exists. Please contact the broadband service provider to optimize the line quality.
