What is the reason why the audio pauses when the netbook is playing the video?

The audio may pause while watching a video or movie. This is not a failure, please refer to the following information.

This type of problem occurs when the EDS (Enhanced Digital Sound) program has a lower priority. The processing power required by the EDS program is reduced when the CPU processes other applications or emergency equipment.

The above symptoms occur with the Atom CPU installed in the netbook.

Atom CPUs are designed for power efficiency and mobility agility.

Therefore, to resolve this type of audio problem, the EDS should be turned off. Please refer to the following steps:

1. On the taskbar, find the Eds menu and right click.

2. Select the Samsung EDS open option.

3. Select "Enhanced Digital sound OFF".
