What is the use of Windows 8 automatic maintenance? How to use

This feature automatically performs security updates and scans, system software updates, hard disk defragmentation, SSD drive optimization, disk error checking, and system diagnostics when the system is idle.

Shutdown function:

1. Press the WIN-X key combination to open "Computer Management";

2. In the left tree diagram, expand Task Scheduler;

3. Expand to "Task Scheduler Library-microsoft-windows-taskscheduler" in turn;

4. There is a "Idle maintenance" task in the upper pane of the center, right click, select "Disable".

How to use

Click Start, open Control Panel---All Control Panel items---operation Center---automatic maintenance.
