What if the Windows 8 system computer desktop icon is missing?

1. The new system we installed, as shown in the following illustration, is only "taskbar" and nothing else.

2. Then we will be in the computer table in the right key blank place, it would pop up a menu.

3. Then we click on "View" in the pop-up menu below "Medium icon" as shown in the following figure

4. Now look at the desktop icon out of there, if not we then right click on the desktop space, and then click on the pop-up menu "personalized" as shown in the following image.

5. Then click "Change Desktop Icon" in the personalized interface, as shown in the following image

6. Now we will see the system desktop icons are here, we now select them to determine, you will find the desktop icon back.
