What if the printer daemon service is not running? When you add a printer or use a printer, the system error "Print Spooler service is not running" occurs because of system instability that causes the system to support printer services that cannot be enabled. The Print Spooler service is a service for Windows 2000, XP, and 2003 systems that support printers, all of which are required for printer-related operations within the system.
The printer Daemon service does not run a workaround:
Select "My Computer" on the desktop, the right mouse button to choose "Management";
In the Administration window, select the Services option under the Services and Applications extension project, locate the print Spooler service in the list of system services on the right, and double-click to enter the print Spooler service setting;
In the Print Spooler Service Settings window, set the startup type to automatic and click the Start button;
The system attempts to start the service at this point, prompting (Error 3: The system cannot find the specified path), possibly because "an empty executable path caused an error!"
Modify the registry to: Enter the "Hkey_local_machinesystemcurrentcontrolsetservicesspooler" directory, create a new expandable string value, named: "ImagePath", the value is: "C: WINDOWSsystem32spoolsv.exe "(Do not quote)
