Failure phenomenon:

Win8 modified Win7 need to turn off the UEFI option under the BIOS, if the OS option is turned off, but the UEFI is grayed out, how do I handle it?

Solution:

Note that this is a WIN8 Win7 related operation that will cause all data on the hard disk to be emptied, including a single key recovery feature.

1. When restart under the OS option has been set to disabled;

2. But the UEFI option under startup is grey and cannot be changed;

3. Preferred restore BIOS default settings;

4. Can be changed after recovery;

5. If the gray is still not selectable, or do not want to restore the default, you can enter the security option to find secure boot (safe boot);

6. Turn off safe start;

7. You can change the UEFI.
