0. I just came to the lab these days and got my brother's computer and installed the system first. Below is a simple record of the process.

 

1. reinstall the system: windows (Win7)

1.1 download tools such as Chinese cabbage/old peach and make a USB flash drive as a boot disk

1.2 download the windows Image File and put it into the USB flash drive.

1.3 U disk is inserted into the host of the system to be installed, boot into the BIOS (different computer access methods, usually after the boot has been del), find the first boot item, change the hard disk to a U disk, restart.

1.4 go to the relevant interface, select the image file in the USB flash drive, select the corresponding partition, install it, And then restart.

1.5 download the windows activation tool, office, and office activation tools for installation and activation (Escape

 

2. install linux (Ubuntu16.04) on windows Basic)

2.1 First, an idle partition should be left blank in the disk partition in windows.

2.2 download the software disk and Ubuntu Image File

2.3 write Ubuntu into a USB flash drive

2.4 Insert a USB flash drive, enter the BIOS, set the first boot item to USB flash drive, and restart.

2.5 go to the Ubuntu installation page and select idle partitions.

2.6 partition with/,/home,/boot, and swap as Mount Points

/Boot: boot partition, 200 MB

Swap: swap space (equivalent to virtual memory), with the same memory size

The remaining/AND/home are divided into half. The root directory/must be mounted. If no specified partition is attached to a directory, it will be placed in the same partition as the root directory.

PS: it should be partitioned according to actual needs. For example, when the computer is used as a server, the changed file is generally located at/var, so/var should have enough space to plan; when used as a daily application, /home is the directory with the largest storage media capacity, so/home needs to enlarge the space. If a large number of software is installed in the computer, you may need to increase/usr space.

2.7 partition after installation, after the completion of restart, found that the direct access to windows, download easyBCD, add a startup Item to repair, restart again will see the two systems.
