The Azure platform supports virtual machines for Windows and Linux two operating systems, which only say Windows virtual machines.
Tips:
The Azure platform disables ping.

Before you discuss this issue, make sure that
1. Verify that the host domain name or IP input is correct?
2. Confirm that the port you entered is correct?
3. Confirm the connection via VPN or public network?
If you are connected via a VPN:
Check steps
1. Use the Psping tool to see if the virtual machine survives? If you survive, go to step 3rd.
2, in the subscription management platform to check whether the virtual machine is functioning properly, virtual network gateway is disconnected? If the virtual machine is functioning properly and the virtual network is connected, go to step 3rd
3, backup the D drive data, restart the virtual machine on the subscription management platform, and then test the remote connection after the reboot is complete.
4, after the reboot is complete, the virtual machine is still unable to connect remotely, it can only rebuild the virtual machine (the disk is reserved when the VM is deleted).
If connected via public network:
1, through the subscription management platform to check whether the virtual machine is running, if it is running, go to the second step, if not running, start the virtual machine check again.
2, the subscription management platform checks the virtual quasi-machine Remote Desktop If the port is open, turn the third step, if not, open the check on the platform.
3, the subscription management platform checks the virtual quasi-machine Remote Desktop whether the port is ACL enabled (access list), if ACL is enabled, check whether the client's local public IP is in the access list, no, add customer local public IP, then check if ACL is not enabled, go to fourth step.
4, backup the D drive data, restart the virtual machine on the subscription management platform, and then test the remote connection after the reboot is complete.
5, after the reboot is complete, the virtual machine is still unable to connect remotely, it can only rebuild the virtual machine (the disk is reserved when the VM is deleted).
