Windows 7 desktop ie icon disappears. How can I restore it?

After Windows 7 is installed, the IE8 attribute is no longer available on the desktop, and the IE8 desktop icon set for IE8 is no longer available. Windows XP users are not familiar with it for a long time. Although the entire "IE8 shortcut" can be set to the desktop, it cannot be set to IE8 without opening the IE browser like XP.

The original method of retrieving the desktop icons of XP and Vista IE browser has no effect on Windows 7. Here we provide a set of registration files. After downloading and unzipping the file, import the registry, click the screen (Press F5), and the familiar IE8 desktop icon (not a shortcut) will return.
