Changing a notebook into a wireless router allows a mobile phone, tablet, or other notebook to share the internet, you need to use connectify, a free software, which currently only supports Windows 7. After the software is installed, you can share the wireless network after simple settings. Note that the mode option is wireless access mode. Select acess piont and wpa2.

First, find the network status button in the lower-right corner of the taskbar, right click and open the network and sharing center, a new network setting option will pop up, we drag the scroll bar to the last column, find the option to set the wireless temporary network. After selecting this option, click Next. The introduction about the connection to the temporary network appears, followed by the option to set the wireless network name and password, after setting the network name and password, we can see an option to save the network, and the system will automatically configure the wireless network for us. After the system is configured, the system will prompt that the wireless network is ready for use. After we click "Start Internet shared connection", the system will automatically set up sharing for us, after the configuration, the system will prompt that Internet Connection Sharing is enabled. After we connect the mobile devices around us, we can connect the mobile devices to this hotspot for point-to-point Internet sharing.
