Wi-Fi and network

With Windows, you can always be online and connected.

Connect to the Internet

To establish a connection, you need to obtain an account from the Internet service provider (ISP www.111cn.net. Register an account at the ISP just like registering a telephone service or a public utility service. ISP is usually a telephone company (providing DSL or fiber-optic connections), a mobile phone company (providing mobile broadband), or a television program provider (providing wired or satellite connections ).

You still need some hardware. For broadband connections like DSL, optical fiber, or cable TV, you need a broadband modem. When you register a bandwidth account, the basic hardware provided by the ISP may include this modem. If you want to use mobile broadband, you need to use an external SIM card or data card for your computer.

After obtaining the account and the corresponding hardware, follow these steps to connect:

1. Open the "set" super button and click the network icon (or ).
2. Select the network to connect to and click "connect ".

After the connection, you only need to open the browser or application to start using it.

Set the home network

The network can connect two or more computers so that they can "communicate" with each other ". Through the network, you can share Internet connections, shared files and devices (such as printers), streaming media, and even play online games with others on the network.

Plan your network
To connect to the Internet, you must first determine the network type you need. We recommend that you use a wireless network so that you can choose whether to use a wired connection or a wireless connection. Wireless connections can achieve maximum mobility because they use radio waves to transmit information between computers.

Obtain hardware and ISP accounts
You must have at least one router and each computer must have one Nic. Most laptops have wireless NICs, while most desktop computers have wired NICs. On the same network, it is very common for laptops to use wireless connections while desktops to use wired connections. To connect to the Internet, you also need an Internet service provider (ISP) account. We recommend that you use broadband connections whenever possible.

Set the router and connect it to the Internet
You can automatically set most of the newer vrouters or use the installation disc attached to the vro. Follow the instructions attached to the vro. Then, connect the router to the Internet according to the instructions provided by the ISP.

Add computers and devices to the network
The steps for adding a device or computer to a network may vary depending on the version of the Windows operating system and the type of network hardware you have.

Create a home group
The best way to share files and printers after setting up a home network is to use a home group. A Home Group is a group of computers on your network that can share files and printers.

Use a home group for network sharing

When you have multiple computers in your home or work network, you can easily share the printer without having to configure a new printer for each computer. This is also the case with shared files.
