Windows Azure Virtual Machine (20) Closes the relationship between Azure virtual Machine and VIP address, internal IP address (2)
In this chapter I will introduce you to the following scenario: 2 Azure VMS share the same DNS address.
In the case of 2 Azure VMs, we have the following 2 ways to safely stop the Azure VM.
1 Close one of the Azure VMs (using Azure Management Portal, RDP or PowerShell, three)
2 simultaneous closure of 2 Azure VMs (ditto three ways)
First look at the VM that I have created in the Azure Management portal, as shown in the following figure:
-Above, there are 2 Azure VMs, Leizhangvmone and Leizhangvmtwo respectively.
-these 2 Azure VMS share the same DNS address: http://leizhangvm.cloudapp.net
For the VIP address and internal IP address of these 2 azure VMS, we can observe the following figure:
-The VIP address of these 2 azure VMs is the same, Internal IP address is different
1. Close one of the VMS using the Azure Management Portal
We chose the first Leizhangvmone and chose shut down. After closing, we select Start:
We observe the Leizhangvmone IP address changes:
Conclusion: Using Azure Management Portal to shut down one VM, the VIP address of this VM will not change, Internal IP address will change.
