Window 1993 Windows NT 3.1 released, this product is based on the OS/2 NT based, jointly developed by Microsoft and IBM. The collaboration was later separated, and Microsoft changed the name of the software to their version of Ms Windows NT, changing the main API to a 32-bit version. Microsoft has hired a group of people from the Digital equipment Company (Digital Equipment Corporation) to develop the new system. Many of the elements of this system reflect the early DEC concept with VMS and RSX-11. Because it is the first product that truly corresponds to the server market, the stability aspect is better than the desktop operating system.
