Therefore, it is very important to master some secret techniques to protect privacy from intrusion. Here are some tips to help you create a more secure operating environment.

turn off displaying recently used file features

Even if an intruder cannot directly browse the contents of a document you've worked on, you can learn more about your work by viewing what files you have recently used in Word or Excel's File menu. This temporary list even lists the files that you have recently deleted, so it's a good idea to turn off the feature. In Word or Excel, choose the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, and then go to the General tab, and in general options, deselect the check box (Figure 1) of the checkbox preceding the list of recently used files.
   Close Recycle Bin

In the default installation mode, the files that we delete are not actually deleted, but are also stored in the Recycle Bin. Therefore, if you want to delete files completely, you should remove files from the Recycle Bin that you think are definitely not used. Of course, we can also empty the Recycle Bin at any time, but a better way is to turn off the Recycle Bin function. To completely delete a file at once, right-click on the Recycle Bin icon, select Properties, then go to the Global tab, select all drives with the same setting, and delete the file without moving files to the Recycle Bin while deleting the check box to mark (Figure 2).
temporary files are cleared at any time

Word and other applications often intelligently and temporarily save your work results to prevent accidental damage. Even if you do not save the file you are working on, many programs will also save text that has been deleted, moved, and copied by you. You should periodically remove temporary files stored in the \Windows\Temp folder by various applications to clear these fragmented text.

   Reject record URL

IE browser will be smart to record your input in the browser each URL, you can verify: The toolbar below the Address window to enter a URL address, the browser will record the address in the Drop-down menu, until there are other items to replace. You can access the Web site in the following ways, and the URLs you use are not logged: You can press the Ctrl+o key in the browser, and then enter the URL address in the dialog box (Figure 3).
   Clear Cache information in time

IE will save your recently visited pages in your hard disk cache, and when you visit them again, caching information can speed up your Web pages, but it also reveals your secret to the prying. To clear the information in the cache, select Internet Options from the IE Tools menu, and then go to the General tab and click the Delete File button. You can also set up your browser so that it doesn't use the cache at all, which, of course, slows down the speed of Web Access. In IE, select Tools Internet Options general, click the Settings button on the right side of the Internet temporary files, and then move the slider below "used disk space" to the left (Figure 4). important file password protection

Password protection for important files, which is easy to implement in Word and Excel, select File Save As, and then select General Options in Tools, and enter a password in the password to open and modify password (Figure 5), preferably not using common words and dates as the password. You can mix letters, numbers, and punctuation, so that passwords are hard to decipher, but you have to keep them to yourself so you don't get into trouble. Of course, every time you open and modify the document, you must enter the password, although a bit cumbersome, but very safe.
   Purge History

IE lists all of the objects that have been visited, including the pages you have browsed, the queries you have made, and the data that you have entered. IE Keep Web Access history in a weekly or web-site-separated folder, we can individually delete individual addresses (URLs), but the quickest way is to delete the entire folder. To clear all history, select Internet Options on the Tools menu, and then select the General tab, and click the Purge History button. If you think this is a hassle every time, just set the "number of days in the history of the Web page" to "0" days, once and for all (Figure 6).
