Windows Server 2016 official version installation tutorial

Microsoft has provided OEM with the latest Windows Server 2016 official version of the ISO image, currently only 64-bit English version, the Chinese version has not been released, but we can install the language pack to solve the problem.

Although the official version of the desktop version of Windows Server 2016 and Win10 the first anniversary of the official version of "This is the same root", but after all, "the owner", so many places still have significant differences.

First, installation

The overall installation process is similar to that of WIN7/WIN8.1/WIN10, or nearly a few versions of Windows Server, and the old driver naturally doesn't have to say much. It should be noted that the system is required for password complexity, although you can disable the rule in Group Policy, but for security reasons, the default rule is better. When you enter a password, the system only prompts for a lack of complexity, but does not tell you the content of the rule. In fact, the default rule is to meet the following criteria:

• Contains 3 or more character types, such as uppercase, lowercase, numerals, and symbols (two letters in case of letter size)

• Must not include full username or part of character
