Windows Server file resource Management Server turns on disk quotas for the specified FTP user
Quotas and users
Disk quotas monitor the use of individual users, so each user's utilization of disk space does not affect the disk quotas of other users on the same volume. For example, if the quota limit is a number of megabytes, and the user has saved 500MB of files on disk, the user must first delete or move some existing files from it before they can write other data to the volume. However, as long as there is enough space, each other user can save up to 500MB of files.
Disk quotas are based on file ownership and are not limited by the folder location of user files in the volume. For example, if a user moves a file from one folder to another folder on the same volume, the volume space is used unchanged. However, if the user copies the files to a different folder on the same volume, the volume space usage doubles.
The quota is divided into two modes, one of which is a hard quota, which does not allow users to exceed the quota. There is also a soft quota, which allows the user to exceed the quota limit. When used, most of the hard quotas are selected and soft quotas are used for monitoring.
First, install the appropriate service first, using the Windows Server 2016来 experiment below
Click Install to wait a moment
Since this experiment is using two accounts to reflect the effect, first create the user and disk files
Next, create the FTP site
Site A
b site
Next up is the point, create quotas
Create quotas you can create your own templates, or you can use server-recommended templates
Login and experiment with FileZilla Client after creation quota is complete
Since the previous quota is not more than 100M files can be uploaded successfully, the following directly with more than 100M files to see what will be the reaction
Can see directly unable to upload what we are trying to upload files less than 100M what effect
Files less than 100M can be uploaded directly successfully
The previous two quota methods described earlier are hard quotas, the following describes the soft quotas
The same new quota
Note that the quota attribute needs to be changed to a custom quota attribute
Pop-up new window space limit is still selected 100M
