WINDOWS SERVER R2 Installation Guide

Description: Applies to the following operating systems:

1.Windows Server Standard Endition R2

2.Windows Server Enterprise endition R2

3.Windows Server Datacenter endition R2

First, the preparatory work

Download the appropriate driver backup to the USB drive according to the SAS card model supported by the server board.

Second, installation steps

1. Place the Windows Server R2 System CD into the optical drive and boot the system from the CD drive.

Note: A "press and key to boot from CD or DVD ..." appears, pressing any key to start from the disc.

2. The "Windows is loading files ..." interface appears, waiting for the system to load files.

3. The "Input language and other preferences" screen appears, set according to the actual needs, click "Next".

4. The "Install Now" screen appears, click "Install Now".

5. "Select the operating system to install" screen appears, select, then click "Next".

6. When the "please read the License Terms" screen appears, select "I accept the License terms" and click "Next".

7. "What type of installation do you want?" appears. interface, click on "Custom (Advanced)".

8. "Where do you want to install Windows?" appears. Interface, insert the backup of the SAS corresponding USB flash drive, click "Load Driver", click "Browse", select the Driver folder, click "OK". The "Select the driver to install" screen appears, select the appropriate driver, and click "Next".

9. "Where do you want to install Windows?" appears. interface, which shows the available disk information, click on "Drive Options (Advanced)".

10. Select the disk on which you want to install the operating system, click "New", and according to the size of the partition, click "Apply". Pop up the "Install Windows" dialog box and click "OK". Select the disk partition where you want to install the operating system, and click Next.

11. The "Installing Windows ..." screen appears and starts installing the operating system. During the installation process, the system will automatically restart several times, please wait.

12. Go to the "User must change password before first login" screen and click "OK".

13. Enter the new password and Confirm password in the Create new password interface, single point arrow.

Note: The password must contain both uppercase and lowercase letters and data.

14. After setting the password correctly, the "Your password has changed" screen appears, click "OK".

15. "Preparing Desktop ..." appears to complete the installation and enter the system.
