Windows Vista services that can be disabled

Procedure

Manual: After all the Vista system services are changed to Manual, Windows Vista enters the original state, and even the resource manager and control panel cannot operate normally, you can only use the shortcut key to call the service management terminal for modification.

Basic System: Remote Procedure Call, Plug and Play, DCOM Server Process Launcher, User Profile Service, and Windows Management Instrumentation set these services to automatic, even if the system is available, similar to Windows. We recommend that you set the Software Licensing service to automatic, which is an important part of Vista's genuine verification and system operation. If this service is not started, the system will be the same as the pirated version due to trial expiration, many of the following functions cannot be started.

Access Network: in addition to services in the most basic system, DHCP Client, DNS Client, and Network Connections must be automatically run.

Complete experience: in addition to the basic system and services on the access network, Themes needs to run automatically (open it and you will have the XP interface ); desktop Windows Manager Session Manager (enable Aero); Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder (these two are equivalent to the original Windows Audio, which can be voiced only when the system is enabled ); windows Search, Windows Defender, Windows Firewall, and Superfetch (these are new features and features of Vista ).

Suggestions for Automatic Running of other services: Distributed Link Tracking Client (using NTFS file system); Function Discovery Resource Publication, Server, Workstation (accessing LAN shared resources); Printer Spooler (using Printer ); group Policy Client (in a centralized IT environment); IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modules (Network Authentication and protection); Task schedles (scheduled Task ); windows Update (automatically Update system patches); ReadyBoost (if you have a large volume of storage, fast U disk ).

For most novice users, it is recommended to set all the above startup to automatic, but not all in the list to manual to adapt to the vast majority of environments, and achieve a perfect balance between resource usage and functions.
