In this case, the computer can be shut down only after several seconds of power switch, but it is always troublesome.

Fault Resolution: The machine uses the ATX power supply, which can be automatically shut down. Judging from the fault surface, one possibility is that the power supply may be damaged, and the other possibility is that the power supply settings of the system are incorrect. Try another power supply first. As a result, the fault persists after the power supply is changed. In this way, the system's power supply settings are incorrect. If the computer's motherboard does not support ACPI advanced power management mode, it may not be able to shut down normally. View the BIOS settings of the computer and find that the ACPI function is available. Then go to the "Device Manager" and check that the Windows XP system is "standard PC" on the "computer, the corresponding display should be "Advanced Configuration Power Interface (ACPI) PC". It seems that there is a problem here, So I right-click and choose "Update driver"Program". 2. A hard disk partition cannot be accessed after the file server retries the system.

Failure: The file server in the internet cafe is infected with a virus, and the system is re-built. After the installation of the new system is complete, if you find that you cannot access the content of the d disk, a "Access Denied" message is displayed. The operating system is Windows 2000 Server.

Fault resolution: because the virus only infected the system partition, it only formats the system partition and re-installs the operating system. Scan the disk with anti-virus software, and no virus is found. The D disk in the file server is a place dedicated to providing file turnover for users in Internet cafes. Therefore, you have set the appropriate permissions. Only Super Users Have Full Access Permissions to them. Will it be caused by improper permission settings? After logging on with a Super User, right-click the properties of drive D and find a strange user name. After deleting the user name, add the super user and the account used for daily use as the access permission, after the machine is restarted, you can access it.

Fault comment: For machines using the NTFS file system, after the system is re-installed, if the corresponding permission settings are not performed on the file, the system will prompt that access is denied.

Fault resolution: in Windows 2000 and Windows XP, the IPX protocol does not exist in the real sense, but is IPX compatible, therefore, for the "Red Alert" game that relies on the IPX protocol to bring the LAN online, there will be a problem that cannot be brought online. We can have two solutions to solve this problem. One solution is to modify the internal network number of the IPX protocol to correct the "Red Alert" local area network connection problem; another solution is to go to the "options" interface on the "Red Alert" game interface, find the "Network number" in the "Network Settings" option, and change it to a different network number.

Fault comment: if an internet cafe uses the billing management software based on IPX protocol communication, do not modify the internal network number of IPX to solve the online problem of the "Red Alert" game, after the IPX internal protocol number is modified, the billing management software client cannot connect to the billing server.

5. An I/O error occurs on the hard disk.

Fault performance: the operating system of Internet cafes is Windows XP with MB memory. The system restarts the computer after exiting the game and feels slow. After the computer restarts, the system prompts "disk I/O error Replace the disk and then press any key", and the keyboard also loses its response, no matter what key it presses, it repeatedly displays the preceding content. No write or delete operations were performed on the hard disk before the fault occurred.

Fault resolution: according to the English prompt on the display, it indicates a hard disk I/O read/write error. One of the following may be the loss of system files, and the other may be the physical damage to the hard disk, another possibility is that hard disk partition tables are damaged by viruses. You can use the system boot disk to view the hard disk. If it is suspected that the hard disk is physically damaged, the hard disk is connected to another machine and the hard disk is intact. Re-check the hard disk data line in the faulty machine and find that the data line is normal. Re-obtain the hard disk to the faulty machine for testing, troubleshooting, and review the process carefully. The biggest possibility is the poor contact between the hard disk data cable and the hard disk interface.
