Remote Desktop can actually do a lot for us, and in the near future, it will play a greater role. Simply put, Remote Desktop Management, that is, we can connect to the desktop of a remote computer while sitting at home. We can operate a remote computer to do anything for you, such as sending emails, viewing reports, and managing users, the system maintenance is updated, just like the actual operation of the computer!

Some third-party software also has strong remote desktop functions, but now Windows xp has been fully integrated, and the operation is very convenient. (It seems that Microsoft's anti-monopoly case is just an annoyance for him)

Remote Desktop includes both the client and the server, and each windows xp includes both the client and the server, that is, it can be used as a client to connect to another computer with Windows xp, and control him, you can also take him as a server, let other computers control himself.

The server uses windows xp, and the client, Win95-97-98, Win2000, WinME can be. In addition, the client has no requirements for the Language Department. That is to say, you can use Win95 in your simplified version at home to control Windows xp in popular versions of companies or other places)

The following describes how to install the Remote Desktop Connection of windows xp step by step.

Step 1: Set up a server

In fact, after Windows xp is installed, you can, of course, if your XP does not use a password to automatically log on, it will not work. Without a password, you will not be allowed to perform Remote Desktop Connection, otherwise, no one else can operate your computer. Therefore, we need to add the password as follows:

Click Start ------ set --- Control Panel (traditional version called console) Click him. The following figure is displayed:

Next, click "User Account". The following figure is displayed.

Click your login username, and then

If the password already exists, this step is saved. Because my XP is automatically logged on, you must add a password. Click ----- create a password and the following screen appears:

After the password is created, press the button in the lower right corner to create the password. The following figure is displayed.

At this point, the password is created, all contents are disabled, and the password is displayed on the desktop. If you already have a password, you can save it. The next step is to set up remote desktop settings. Click desktop --- my computer -- Right-click

Point attribute ---- The following screen appears

Click Remote Desktop and check to allow users to remotely connect to this computer. The following dialog box is displayed on the computer.

Whether it is OK or not, click "OK" and select a remote user. The following dialog box is displayed.

However, we will find that the user of the soft animal already has access permissions. Of course, we can add other users, but I advise you to have fewer users, otherwise, you don't know what's going on after you get it.

Press OK to confirm and return to the desktop. ----------- Now all the Remote Desktop servers are done, and then the client is started.

Step 2. Set the client

The client can use either Win95, 98, 2000, or WinME, and there is no language system restriction, either in simplified, traditional, or English. On the client, click the XP installation disk, network, or disc. You can use it anyway. Click setup.exe.

The installation interface of XP appears. It is exactly what we want. Click the second item to execute other tasks. Of course, it doesn't matter if you use traditional Chinese to install Simplified Chinese, but it will all change to English here, click the second one.

The following screen is displayed. Select the first Remote Desktop Connection Point to install it.

Next, install it. (generally, the first installation of a machine may require you to restart once. It doesn't matter. After the restart, install the machine.

Keep following the next step. There are no options in the middle until the process is completed.

At this point, all the servers and clients are done, and a Remote Desktop Connection will be added to the communication menu of your 95 or 98 client computers. It indicates that your installation is correct. Click him. The exciting time is coming soon.

Step 3: remote connection

After the client is installed, a Remote Desktop Connection will be added to the communication menu to run it. The following dialog box is displayed. Hey, the point is here,

Well, the picture has already been clearly written. Let's explain it one by one,

First, the computer here can be the computer name or IP address,

Comrades have noticed that computers on the Internet generally have two IP addresses, one of which is the IP address of the local LAN (generally specified by the system administrator). For example, the above is the IP address of the local machine in the LAN, (if it is a single machine, it is generally automatic, and it will be useless)

There is also an IP address for accessing the Internet. If the IP address for dial-up access is dynamic, of course, some places have better conditions and there is a fixed IP address, if you are a computer in the LAN, you only need to enter the IP address of the computer with windwos xp on the LAN.

If you are at home or in a distance, you need to enter the IP address of the computer with windows xp installed. (Do not know ??!? I... you can run ipconfig after accessing the Internet through XP. Another way is to run QQ on XP and then run QQ at home. Then you can see the IP address of remote XP. ---- You can understand it,

----- What ?!?! Your QQ didn't show the IP patch ------- I'm crazy... I vomit blood ))

The user name and password are your XP user name and password.

After that, click Connect ).....

A few seconds later, the computer's black screen... (My Heart)... a few seconds later, the success of the hey, finally appeared!

I was also worried about the tense scene just now)

Well, now let's take a closer look at this. Oh, there is no difference with your XP desktop, but there is an additional tool bar at the top, and the first one is automatically hidden, the name or IP address of the remote computer is displayed in the middle: the three on the right are the minimum and window, and the Remote Desktop is disabled. cool !!!!!! It's just like operating his own computer. It's just fun. You need to create a file first. haha, it's really fun. (After the connection is successful, the remote XP will automatically return to the logon screen. If someone operates on the XP computer, the client screen will automatically exit, however, if you have created multiple users in XP, the current user's screen does not affect the background program after exiting, that is, he can use the user name after logging in, if you download or upload the software, it will continue and will not be affected. great, XP's multi-tasking and multi-user functions ., great... I like it)

Iv. Postscript

Microsoft, although I have never liked him well, but the stuff I made is indeed quite good. Windows XP released in November 9, although it was just found that the patch was full of sky, it still has a strong function. just like this Remote Desktop Connection, it can operate remote computers very well at low network speeds, and there is little picture pause or inconsistency. in the past, they wanted to perform remote desktop operations, either using hacker software, famous such as glaciers, and network theft, but they were all put on viruses and stolen hats. resources that can and occupy a lot of the system. either use the well-known PCAnywhere software today, and of course there are some other things. however, these and other functions almost all integrate XP into the system. in today's world, a famous software company, or a software company with a better technology than Microsoft, is not stolen by Microsoft (usually invented by Microsoft, microsoft was killed. in Microsoft's anti-monopoly lawsuit, he used us dollars. He finally lost the money. we seem to have seen the helpless eyes of PCAnywhere, as if to say, "It's easy, it's easy to get cold, it's no longer enough
