Hkdsk

Create and display a status report for the disk. The Chkdsk command can also list and correct errors on the disk.

Attention

The Chkdsk command requires a Autochk.exe file. If you cannot find the file in the startup directory (the default is \%systemroot%\system32), you will try to find it on the Windows installation CD. Diskpart
