Windows Live sync, mesh, SkyDrive

SkyDrive provides 25 GB of space, apparently used for network hard disks, not for synchronization, but live sync beta included in my Windows Live essential beta, although it is called the sync name, it uses the SkyDrive service. This is what I found at last.

Sync is used for synchronization. I have never used its service independently. I log in from the sync of the website and create a folder for synchronization, I cannot log on to another computer. Live Mesh needs to be installed. If it is not installed, you can log on to mesh.com. You can see that you can add devices, and you can log on to live desktop. To add devices, you need to add plug-ins to local clients, you are not required to log on to the live desktop, but you are not allowed to drag folders without installation!

I installed mesh on the company's computer and found that the synchronization folder cannot be changed. Of course, right-click any folder and there will be a synchronization option. I will test it tomorrow, in win7, the default synchronization path can be customized at will. For example, I defined it to a directory with the same name as the synchronization directory set on the company's computer. Live Mesh found the same name, naturally, the files on both sides are given to merge.

Microsoft provides 5g space for mesh. In terms of functionality, device implements the network hard disk function, and live desktop implements the synchronization function. It should be the main feature of the future!
