Windows Share Point 3 installation

After a few nights of hard work, I finally completed the installation of Windows share piont (WSS) 3 and sweated. Fortunately, I got the result instead of returning without success.

The WSS installation environment is harsh:
Windows 2003 Server + SP1 (I used SP2 at last),. NET Framework 2.0,. NET Framework 3.0.

The main problem encountered during this period is the operating system problem.

Question 1:In Windows 2003, you cannot pack the service.

Question 2:The Share Point installation prompt is. NET 2.0 not allowed in IIS.

Solution:Reinstall. NET 2.0 (make sure you have installed IIS)

After installing the operating system, install. NET 2.0,. Net 3.0, and Sharepoint. The following is a brief installation procedure:

1. Install Windows 2003 Server (with a good key that can ensure online Windows Update)
2. Install component IIS (Internet Information System)
3. Install. NET Framework 2.0
4. Install. NET Framework 3.0
5. Install SharePoint
