Windows XP CD-ROM boot installation detailed
Core tips: In this tutorial will introduce you to the Windows XP CD-ROM boot installation details!
First, the preparatory work:
1. Prepare the Windows XP Professional Simplified Chinese version of the CD and check the optical drive for support from boot.
2. If possible, scan all hard drives with ScanDisk before running Setup to check for hard drive errors and fix them, otherwise setup will be troublesome if you check for hard drive errors when you run the program.
3. Use paper to record the product key of the installation file (installation serial number).
4. Where possible, use the driver Backup utility (such as Driver Wizard V1.9 Beta.exe) to back up all drivers under the original Windows XP to your hard disk (for example, f:drive). It is best to note the motherboard, network card, graphics and other major hardware models and manufacturers, download the driver in advance standby.
5. If you want to format C or D in the installation process (the recommended format for the installation of C disk), please back up the C disk or D disk useful data.

Second, the use of CD-ROM to start the system:
(If you already know the method, go to the next step), reboot the system and set the optical drive as the first boot disk, save the settings and reboot. Put the XP installation CD into the CD drive and restart the computer. When you start, you will not be able to start the XP system CD installation when you quickly press ENTER when the following illustration shows. Third, install Windows XP Professional
After the CD has been started, if you can see the installation interface without any surprises, it will appear as shown in Figure 1 below

All Chinese prompts, "To install Windows XP now, press ENTER", after pressing the ENTER key, appears as shown in Figure 2 below

Here use the "down or up" arrow keys to select the partition used to install the system, if you have formatted C disk, please select C partition, select a good partition and press "Enter" key return, appear in Figure 4 below
