WINSCP combining putty for file transfer between Windows and UNIX

2. The role of WINSCP and Putty:

Putty remote connection to UNIX;

WINSCP is used for file transfer between Windows and UNIX;

3. To view/start/stop UNIX on the SSH Service command:

Systemct1 Status/start/stop sshd.services

4. Transfer of files:

A. Opening the connection: Open Sftp://root:[email protected]

B. Upload files to Unix:put d:\filepath\filename/root/

Get files to Windows: Get/root/filename D:\FilePath\FilePath

5. Precautions:

A. After installing the WINSCP, configure a reference to the putty in the WINSCP;

B. To transfer files between the two, first start the SSH service on UNIX;
