In the Word2010 document, a lot of paste options, set the default Paste options, you can adapt to the various conditions of the paste needs, the following steps are described:
Step 1th, open the Word2010 document window, and click the file → options button, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2nd, in the Open Word Options dialog box, switch to the Advanced tab, where you can set the paste options in the Cut, copy, and paste area. Default Paste Options The meaning of each purpose is summarized as follows:
1. Paste in the same document: When pasting content in the same Word2010 document, select Keep Source formatting, match destination format, and preserve text only one of three formats;
2. Cross-document pasting: When pasting between two Word2010 documents with the same style definition, select Preserve source formatting, match destination format, and preserve text only three formats;
3. In case of a cross document pasting, the style definition resolves when a conflict occurs: when pasting between two Word2010 documents with different style definitions, select Preserve source formatting, match destination format, and retain text only one of three formats;
4. Paste from another program: text copied from a non-word program, select Preserve source formatting, match target format, and preserve text only in one of the three formats when pasting into a Word2010 document;
5. Insert/paste the picture as: When you paste a text object (such as graphics, images, clip art) into a Word2010 document, select "inline", "around", "compact", and so on one of the formats;
6. Keep Bullets and numbering when pasting text with the "Keep Text only" option: sets whether to keep the symbol and number of the source text;
7. Insert Paste: Select this option to use the INSERT key on your keyboard as the shortcut key for the Paste command (you need to cancel the "Insert control overwrite mode" option);
8. Show Paste option button when pasting content: Set whether the Paste Options icon appears to the right of the pasted content;
9. Use smart cut and paste: set whether to use more advanced paste options, if you need to further set smart cut and paste, you can click the "Settings" button, open the Settings dialog box, as shown in Figure 2.
