In a Word 2007 document, users can set Word 2007 picture brightness in two ways, as described in this tutorial.
1. Set Word 2007 picture brightness in the picture tool ribbon
Open the Word 2007 document window and select the picture you want to set the brightness for. On the Format tab of the Picture Tools ribbon, click the Brightness button in the adjustments group to select the -40%-+40% range of brightness adjustments you have opened, with an increase of 10%, as shown in the figure.

2. Set the picture brightness in the word 2007 "Format Picture" dialog box
If you want to make more subtle settings for the brightness of your picture, you can do so in the Word 2007 Format Picture dialog box, as described in the following steps:
Step 1th, open the Word 2007 document window and select the picture you want to set the brightness for. On the Format tab of the Picture Tools ribbon, click the Brightness button in the adjustments group, and select Word 2007 picture correction options in the Open menu, as shown in the figure.

Step 2nd, open the Word 2007 Format Picture dialog box, adjust the brightness spinner in the Picture tab, and set the minor settings in increments of 1%, as shown in the figure.
