In a Word 2007 document, users can set picture dimensions in a variety of ways. For example, drag the Word 2007 picture control handle, specify picture width and height values, and so on, the following are the most commonly used three ways.
1. Drag Word 2007 picture control handle
When a user selects a picture in a Word 2007 document, a control handle in 8 directions appears around the picture. Drag the Four corners of the control handle can enlarge or reduce the size of the picture according to the wide and high proportion, drag the control handle of the four sides can enlarge or reduce the picture to the corresponding direction, but the picture wide and high proportion will change, resulting in the picture distortion, as shown in the figure.

2. Directly enter Word 2007 picture width and height dimensions
If users need to control the size of a picture in a Word 2007 document, you can enter the width and height dimensions of the picture directly in the Word 2007 Picture Tools Ribbon. Set the method as follows:
Open the Word 2007 document window and select the picture you want to set the size for. In the Format tab of the Picture Tools Ribbon, set the width and height values individually, as shown in the figure.

3. Set picture size in Word 2007 "Size" dialog box
If the user wants more detailed settings for the picture size, you can open the Size dialog box to set it up, as described in the following steps:
Step 1th, open the Word 2007 document window, right-click the picture you want to set the size for, and choose Size on the shortcut menu that opens, as shown in the figure.

Step 2nd, in the Open Word 2007 Size dialog box, switch to the Size tab. In the word 2007 size and rotate area, you can set the height and width dimensions of the picture; In the scale area, select the lock aspect ratio and relative to Picture original dimensions check box, and set the height or width of the zoom percentage, the corresponding width or height scaling percentage will automatically adjust, and maintain the aspect ratio unchanged; If you are not satisfied with changing the picture size, you can click the Reset button to restore the original size of the picture. When you are finished, click the Close button, as shown in the figure.
