Word 2010 New Features: Clear, structured document navigation

At work we often need to process some of the longer documents, want to rearrange the contents of the document to scroll back and forth with the mouse wheel, both troublesome and error prone. But if you've already used Office 2010, you won't be bothered by the problem. With the new document navigation feature in the Word 2010 component, you can easily control a longer document.

After you open a long document in Word 2010, switch to the View tab and check the Navigation Pane.

When navigation is turned on, a navigation bar appears on the left side of the document.

When you enter the keyword you want to find in the search box in the navigation bar, you will find that the previous version can only locate one search result at a time, and in the Navigation Pane in Word 2010, you can list all the locations in the entire document that contain the keyword, and you can quickly position it by clicking directly.

By switching the feature label in the Navigation Pane to the middle of "browsing your document", you can view thumbnails of all pages in the document in the Navigation Pane, and click the thumbnail to quickly navigate to the page document. If your screen is wide enough, you can also increase the size of the Navigation Pane so that you can display more pages of document thumbnails.
