Word file repair

Word Document is a file format used by many computer users to write a Word document. 1. Use special repair functions

2. Text Extraction

3. Convert the document format

Convert a Word document to another format, and then convert it back to the Word document format. This is the simplest and most thorough document restoration method. Always try this method first.

① Open the damaged document in word.

② On the "file" menu, click "Save ".

③ In the "Save type" list, click "RTF format (*. rtf)", and then click "save ".

4. paste the new document

Word uses the last section in the document to mark associated formatting information, especially the formatting of sections and styles. If you copy all content not marked in the last section to the new document, the corrupt content may be left in the original document. Apply the format settings of all missing sections or styles in the new document. You can select all content other than the last section marker by clicking options * edit on the Tools menu to clear the use smart section to select a range check box, click OK, press Ctrl + end, and then press Ctrl + Shift + home.

5. Rename the Template

Word stores the default information in the normal. Dot template file. If the file is damaged, strange content may appear in the Word document.

① Close word.

② Click Start * search * all files and folders ".

④ In the "search here" list, click the hard drive letter for word installation, and then click "Search ".

⑤ Right-click "normal" or "normal. Dot" in the result list, and then click "RENAME "().

6. enter a new name for the file, such as "normal. Old", and press Enter.

start WORD. Because word cannot recognize the renamed normal file, word creates a new normal template. After creating a new normal template, open your document. If it can be opened correctly, the old normal template may be damaged. If your document uses templates other than normal. Dot, the template may be damaged.
