2 How to use VLC as a live source 2.1 objective and feasibility analysis
Why do we need to put VLC live stream as Wowza's live source, because VLC does not support the RTMP protocol, and Wowza has it. Wowza does not support direct selection of a media file for live streaming but it supports receiving data from different live feeds, so we can stream VLC live to Wowza, and then Wowza provide different protocols such as RTMP,DASH,HLS,HDS,RTSP, HTTP and other live functions.
2.2VLC Live Streaming as an example of a Wowza live source Step one: open VLC Select stream

Step three: Click the Stream button to proceed to the next step
Fourth Step: Click Next
Fifth step: Select the streaming protocol Rtp/mpegtransport stream, then click the "Add" button
