Wso2 Application Server

Wso2 Application Server is an enterprise-ready application server based on the wso2 carbon platform. The inherited wso2 Web Service Application Server (wsas) and wso2 Application Server (AS) Support Web application deployment and management in addition to its Web service management function. With the carbon feature of wso2, users now have the ability to manage their applications, ranging from web services to Web applications in a unified way on the Application Server Management Console itself.

Based on Web service specifications, the concept of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) supports security, reliability, and transaction Integration Based on loose coupling, which is an inherent concept of scalability. Many vendors already support web services and XML to their existing proprietary product solutions. Wso2 has created a new platform to cut unnecessary layers and support complete WS-* stacks in a simple, clean, and lightweight model, making it easier to develop, deploy and run applications.

When web applications are supported, the wso2 application server uses Apache Tomcat internally and can host any web application, which is deployed in Tomcat. In addition, these Web applications can inherit functions such as authentication/authorization and user management from the wso2 carbon platform.

The wso2 Application Server Management Console is your one-stop application server for managing wso2 companies. You can manage/configure modules/services and monitoring systems through this interface.
The functions of the console are described in detail below.

Welcome Page

Once the application server of wso2 has been installed successfully (for installation details, see the Installation Guide), start the server of the appserver of wso2. Then, start the web browser instance, which points to the URL https: // localhost: 9443/carbon/, if you are using the default settings.
