Basic pages and basic views are the most common when developing applications. This chapter covers basic page CONTENTPAG, basic view Contentview, control template ControlTemplate, template page templatedpage, and template view Templatedview.
Basic Page Contentpage
In Xamarin.Forms, each app's interface is a page. There are many kinds of pages. Among them, the most common, most basic page is the Contentpage page, also known as the content page. When a developer creates a project, the default is to have a contentpage page. This section will take you to content on content pages, including the footprint of content pages, additions to content pages, derivation relationships, and properties.
Note: The default Contentpage page is actually a subclass of Contentpage derivation.
1. Occupied area
Contentpage pages occupy the area of the screen in different platforms. In Android, the page does not occupy the status bar at the top of the screen, and if there is a button at the bottom of the Android screen it will not occupy, except that it is all occupied, as shown in 14.1. The entire screen is occupied in iOS, including the top status bar, shown in 14.2. In Windows Phone, the page does not occupy the status bar at the top of the screen, except that it is all occupied, as shown in 14.3.
