Xbmc 9.11 for Windows

I found that this software has the Windows and Mac versions. I am worried that wd TV player cannot directly play DTS audio tracks, so the Mac Mini at home can play a good role. There is nothing to say about download and installation. The official website is www.xbmc.org. During installation, remember to select Chinese language for installation.

1. Chinese display

I thought that I only needed to select Chinese language for installation and set it to display Chinese characters. However, it took me one afternoon to complete the settings. The reason is actually very simple, the font file used by xbmc can be identified only in the corresponding directory. It cannot use the font file in the operating system directory.

1. First, copy a TrueType font file, such as the "" font, to the xbmc installation font directory, such as: e: \ Program Files \ xbmc \ media \ Fonts

2. Rename the font file to Arial. TTF (back up the original font file)

3. Start xbmc, system --> appearance --> skin

A)-set fonts to Arial. The Arial font file has been replaced by my Chinese font file. Here, my xbmc has only three options: Arial, default, default_no_uppercase, other Chinese fonts in the font directory cannot be recognized. Therefore, we only need to rename the Chinese font to Arial. TTF.

4. System --> appearance --> International

A) set language to Chinese

B) Set character set to Chinese Simplified (GBK)

After the above settings, the GUI should be a Chinese interface.

5. Set Chinese subtitles for video playback: System Settings> videos> subtitles

A) Text subtitle Font: All TrueType fonts under the font directory can be identified here, so you can copy multiple fonts here and switch as needed

B) You can set the size, Font, Character Set, and color as needed.
