Yahoo China's new blog and other network services will focus on community construction

Yahoo China launched a new blog and network service on Tuesday to better attract users in China, the world's second largest Internet market.
The Yahoo space (I .yahoo.com.cn) and Yahoo Group (club.yahoo.com.cn) services include blogs, albums, and online interactions.
 
Yahoo China president Zeng Ming said: "Search is a tool for users to obtain information they want, but it is not the final destination. Yahoo's next step will allow users to share their interests with each other to expand their knowledge ."
Since taking over the company in 2005, Alibaba has reorganized Yahoo China.
Microsoft has run a popular MSN service in China. According to news, the news group is also preparing to set up a joint venture in China.
"This shows Yahoo China is starting to innovate," said Florian Pihs, vice president of Analysys International research. We have never heard of this company in the past two years because they are too focused on solving internal affairs ."
Introducing blogs and network services can help Yahoo China improve its competitive advantage.
Zeng said: "The network community service will encourage existing users to bring new users, which will help Yahoo China's development ."
Zeng said in an email last month to its employees that Yahoo China will work with Alibaba this year to focus on network community construction.
Yahoo space already has more than 1.3 million of users, half of whom are under the age of 25 and are in China.
Microsoft said that MSN Messenger has more than 20 million users in China and about 0.137 billion users in China.
