Linux Installation Zabbix_agent Client

1, create Zabbix User:

[Email protected] ~]# useradd zabbix-s/sbin/nologin

2, compile and install Zabbix_agent:

[Email protected] zabbix-2.2.2]#/configure--with-net-snmp--with-libcurl--enable-agent--prefix=/usr/local/ Zabbix[[email protected] zabbix-2.2.2]# make && make install

3. Copy the startup script and modify the path in the script

[[email protected] zabbix-.2.2]# CP misc/init.d/fedora/core5/zabbix_agentd/etc/init.d/Modify the path in the script: [[email protected] zabbix-2.2.2]# vim/etc/init.d/zabbix_agentdzabbix_bin= "/usr/local/zabbix/sbin/zabbix_agentd"

4. Modify the Zabbix configuration file

[Email protected] zabbix-2.2.2]# Vim/usr/local/zabbix/etc/zabbix_agentd.confserver=192.168.217.132hostname=linux Test server

5, Start zabbix_agent

[Email protected] zabbix-2.2.2]#/etc/init.d/zabbix_agentd start starting Zabbix Agent: [OK]

Zabbix Monitoring Linux hosts:

After saving, view the host list, the green z indicates that the client is successfully monitored, if the red z indicates a failure, then move the mouse to the red Z, there will be a specific hint.
