zbrush® How to detach the extract extracted from the model.
When we use extract to create a good mask, move up to make sure that the mask has been selected, and click on the Subtool of the mask where a vulnerability occurs.
The extracted child object grid retains the mask at the time of drawing and remains in its original position. ZBrush does not show the selected part, so if you want to move the mask, only a portion of it will move. As shown in the figure, the mask is moved and detached using the mobile tool, but there is no movement throughout the move.
There are two ways we need to deselect the mask:
First, hold down the CTRL key and then click and drag the left mouse button in the blank area of the view area to draw a rectangle (do not overwrite any part of the current edit object), and the object's mask will be cleared.
Method Two, undo the selection, press the shortcut key Ctrl+shift+a, at this time do not see any changes, but has removed the mask hidden masks. Now, when you move again, the entire mask will move along with it.
Now go back to drawing mode and edit the mask as you would any other geometry. You will find that extract can easily create clothes, armor or other ornaments based on the model.
