ZTE Fiber Cat F460 Bridging and routing mode setting

Because the hardware configuration of the light cat has good and bad, bandwidth is different everywhere, for bridging, speed has little impact. And the routing mode, because the light cat configuration is poor, telecommunications open bandwidth is also relatively large, resulting in the routing mode under the light of the cat processing, speed impact is relatively large.

See what mode to use to see their needs, conditions can use their own routers to use their own wireless router, routing mode under the light of the cat calorific value, the signal is not good, there are quantitative restrictions (this can be cracked).

So to speak of the light cat, I have here the Light cat set the initial mode, lan1,3,4,ssid1 are all bridged, can be used to dial the Internet. LAN2 and SSID2 are also bridges, but are ITV interfaces. 2 differences in the VLAN and part of the setting. If you have your own router, directly used on the lan1,3,4, through the router's PPPoE dial-up Internet can be, do not have to crack the light cat.

Now, basically, how to use the various modes of the light cat.

1. Crack the super password of the light cat. (This my previous log has cracked part of the model of Light cat tutorial, find their own.) Other light cat cracked under Baidu)

2. Log in to the cat, type the username and Super password, click "Network", the default is "Broadband settings"-"Internet connection", this is where to set bridging and routing mode. This setting is not visible if the account number and password behind the cat are used.

3. "Connection name" there are generally 5 options "1_internet_b_vid_1002", "2_other_b_vid_43", "3_voip_r_vid_4050", "4_tr069_vid_45", and one is " New WAN connection. The following number is the VLAN ID value I have here (Suzhou), which may be different in each place. Be sure to write down this VLAN ID value, otherwise it will be troublesome, and some local VLAN ID is the same, and some places are different from each other, where there is no VLAN ID. If you see a light cat there must be remembered.

4. New routing mode automatic dial-up Internet access.

Select "New WAN Connection", IP protocol version: IP4, mode: PPPoE.

"Port bindings" Here is the port where you route the Internet. I set up here LAN1 and SSID1, light Cat on LAN1 and Wireless 1 set to route mode, as long as the hook on it, like my light cat hook up after the creation, will directly put the previous mode of the port binding canceled. So there's no need to remove the port bindings for that pattern before creating them, but some light cats have to be canceled before they are created.

VLAN mode: Tag,vlan id:1002 (same as "1_internet_b_vid_1002"), if the original bridge mode does not have VLAN ID value, such as "1_internet_b_vid_", the VLAN mode here can choose " Untag ", generally it is OK.

User name and password, is the broadband account and password.

Note: The timeout is the same as the router's on-demand connection. This is the default and locked and is disconnected for 1200 seconds. If this time is required, you can use sendcmd modifications. The other settings are OK by default. Click "Create" to complete, automatically numbered "5_internet_r_vid_1002" (pictured below).

You may find that my MTU differs from the default, and this MTU is the maximum transmission unit, which is generally the default setting.

5. Save Settings. Some light cats have to go somewhere else to save the settings. Reboot the cat to see if you can go directly to the Internet.
