Apache error "address already in use" causes and solutions

This error may occur when configuring apache2: (98): make_sock: cocould not bind to address 0.0.0.0: 443

You may check that no other program occupies this port.

This is because the port is occupied by apache2 itself.

 

A similar error occurs because the same port is added to the configuration file of apache2.

 

Check your apache2 configuration file. The configuration file of apache2 can contain the configuration file. Therefore, there are many configuration files. The root configuration file is apache2.conf.

Note: by default, the ports. conf file Listen has two ports 80,443.
