System version: OS X El Capitan

MySQL version: MySQL Community Server(GPL) (MYSQL-5.7.13-OSX10.11-X86_64.DMG)/* Website download installation, brew seems to support, next try * *

1. Open DMG installation pkg, installation should have a notification bounce out, initial password, remember

2. Open MySQL in System Preferences, click Start

3. Open terminal, set the MySQL environment variable

CD ~Touch-E. Bash_profile

This is a popup TextEdit, written to export Path=${path}:/usr/local/mysql/bin, save, exit.

4. Restart Terminal, enter mysql-u root-p, enter the initial password;

5. At this point should come out mysql>, at this time need to do is to change the initial password, or will always prompt error

SET PASSWORD = PASSWORD (' your password ');

6. You can do whatever you like next.
