Connect to a server using the Remote connection tool putty

Servers are typically in the IDC (Internet Data Center) room and need to be operated using the Remote Connection tool. Common remote connection tools are putty, Xshell, SecureCRT. Putty Small, powerful, color-realistic. the use of Putty is explained here.

1. Download Putty installation package Putty-0.67-installer.msi, download link:

2. You can install it directly after downloading. In the Start menu, locate the Putty tool in the Putty directory, open

4. View the IP address of the server to which you want to connect, command: ifconfig-a

5. Setting Connection Parameters

6. The first connection will pop up a warning, click "Yes" directly

7. Enter the account password login system

Direct use of the server comes with the terminal tool can not directly flip screen, copy, paste and so on. It is inconvenient to use the pipe break tool and the less combination. The use of putty can be very convenient to implement these functions, select that is copied, right-click to paste, scroll wheel on the screen.
