Copy all files from a folder in Linux to a specified directory

Our requirement here is to copy all the files in one folder to another folder instead of copying one folder to another.

Here, you need to use the-R parameter, which means recursive processing, and all files under the specified directory are processed with subdirectories.
The first use of the asterisk indicates all files and folders in the folder, and Linux will use * as a file or a folder.
So here the dots are used to represent all the files and folders.
